Our Katherine Brennecke loves a good story. And she can help you tell yours.

As managing director of training and content, Katherine develops customized training for clients who recognize their value is judged by how well they communicate their work. Katherine leads training in professional communication, public speaking, presentation, and media interview skills. Katherine also uses her almost 20 years in broadcast news to help fellow professional communicators grow and improve their storytelling and skills in multi-media and video production.

Katherine’s high-energy customized training focuses on practical application. “We give people techniques they can use on the job immediately. New skills won’t do you any good if you can’t see how you’ll use them, so we bring value by keeping the focus on actual work product. People understand the new concepts because they can see how they’ll actually apply their new abilities,” she says. “And we hold our training clients accountable by following up to make sure they’re actually using what they learned.”

Katherine is a part-time professor at the University of North Georgia where she teaches Public Speaking.  She developed a passion for teaching and training during her Emmy-award winning career with the CNN News Group and Turner Broadcasting’s truTV, where she was a respected newsroom leader. She developed network editorial policy and effective training practices, enabling hundreds of CNN and Turner employees to implement the skills and know-how to better reach network audiences.

She is our reigning “queen of content,” and contributes her network news-honed writing and editing skills to our corporate accounts. She delivers on client newsletters, owned media, social media content, employee engagement videos and compelling STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) stories.

Katherine says she loves working with our clients in science, tech and engineering fields “because it keeps us on the cutting edge of cool. Creating content that helps tell their stories is challenging and a heck of a lot of fun.
